Castello Ducale grows roughly 15 hectares of vineyards, all organically grown on the hills of Castel Campagnano in the region of Solopaca. The harvesting of grapes is done by hand in small batches. Fermentaion and preservation then takes place in controlled temperature stainless steel vats. The wines are then refined in new oak barrels, in the ancient cellars of the “castello,” for 6-15 months, depending on the wine being produced.
